Electricity

In order to preserve electricity, what we need to do as a civilization is to ensure a virtually unlimited supply of resources for producing electricity. What we need are renewable sources of energy, and these sources are the wind and the Sun. These sources don’t run out, do they? By being able to tap into them, we can have virtually unlimited electricity and at a lower cost than the traditional.
Tapping into the Wind for Energy
Of the two sources, the wind is a more practical choice to tap for renewable energy. That is because the equipment needed to harness electricity from the wind is cheaper. Specifically, the materials that are used to make a wind turbine are less expensive compared to the materials that are used to create solar panels. A wind turbine, for instance, can be made from materials that you might have lying around in your workshop. 
That’s why most people would prefer to create their own wind turbines as well rather than buy ready-made ones from the supermarket.
Making your Own Turbine
In order to create your own wind turbine, you need to prepare certain materials first. One, you would need a motor. The motor will act as the generator, creating power from the kinetic energy of the turbine’s movements. Because you’ll be dealing with the wind here, you would certainly have to create power out of even the softest winds. This means that the motor should be able to generate power at low RPMs, so motors rated at high RPMs are a no-no for your wind turbine.
How to Make Wind Turbine? You would need to fashion blades out of certain materials, which you have the absolute freedom to choose from. The choice for most DIY enthusiasts is PVC pipe, but you can use other materials as well as long as they can guarantee sturdiness and strength against the winds.
